I'm considering buying a house where the big internet players are not available (comcast, verizon) Dish-style is, and some company called CenturyLink (which offers, DSL and some weird definition of Fiber)
All of these have data caps, and with the dish-styles, a * max * of 3 up, with 12 down (and the prices are obscene)
My internet usage is a bit of light browsing, TF2 and WoT / AW.
Since my current connection is not capped, I've never been worried about data usage, but now I'm curious how much does it get used to during a night of, say, 3 hours of on-line gaming of the aforementioned games.
Anyone shed some light here? Anyway to (more or less) accurately self-monitor my existing connection so I can get a good feel for what I use? Comcast claims I used 0 GB last month (which I know is BS, my gf chews through YouTube videos)
Any help will be apprecited.
I did not find the right solution from the Internet.
